240 Riverside Boulevard
Real Estate Highlights
In this week’s section: Convinced it is the wrong time to own a home, Dara and Michael Kass decided to sell their co-op in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and move to a brownstone rental.
A four-bedroom four-bath apartment on Riverside Boulevard on the Upper West Side was the biggest sale of the week, at $6.1 million, according to city records.
After several weeks of penthouses with sweeping views, ornate verandas and prime locations dominating the top of the sales lists in the city, the apartment, on the 19th floor of the Heritage at Trump Place, seems modest. It sold for significantly less than its original asking price of $7.25 million, according to Streeteasy.com.
There was no broker listed in the public records associated with the sale.
The sellers are listed as Neil Chriss, a hedge fund manager, and his wife, Natasha Chriss.
The buyer on the deed is listed as Hilary Fussteig. None of the parties involved in the sale could be reached for comment.
The 41-story building, steps from Riverside Park, has Hudson views, two swimming pools, a fitness center, and a garage with valet parking.
Big Deal includes closed sales from the previous week, ending Wednesday.
